Losing a couple of finals isnt a big deal. Losing SIX tho? And if not for Kyrie big shots, it'd be 7.

Lebron is worse thab the early 90s Buffalo Bills:francis:

Low Key I woulda gave the GHOAT the nod over Kobe but he bytched out and let Pop bench him when they only needed a rebound. He would have 6 and Bron would have 7 :wow:

Duncan was the driving force behind all his rings. As a Heat fan, 2013 should have gone the other way :russ: Pop screwed up so badly :lolbron: Chris doesn't get that rebound and kick it out to Ray for the clutches shot in NBA history if Duncan is out there. :umad:
Kobe's 5 rings do not carry the same weight as Duncan's because Shaq was by far the most dominant player, the alpha, 3 FMVPs. Lakers fans love to rip Gasol but without him playing Robin to Kobe's Batman, Bryant would still be stuck at 3.

Hey , I keep seeing Lebron’s finals record pop up, and everybody talking about rings, and the so called GOAT discussion...

So I’m a big kobe fan, but ever since he retired, he’s becoming a bit “petty” imo.

So I ask this, do we rank Tim Duncan higher than Kobe (I have no problem doing such). I mean Tim has just as many Rings, but he also has the better finals record (5-1) and also more Finals MVP’s...

I mean if we’re keeping it based on wins/losses and rings???
“That don’t count ... thats different” - Kobe Stans

Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio

Almost as bad as Kobe letting Boston come back from 24 down :wow:

Kobe would have 6 and the Lakers would have the most titles in NBA history. :wow:

Lol you nikkaz love making big statements

He also had Pop
He also had David Robinson
He also had Tony
He also had Manu

That’s 4 first-ballot Hall of Famers

No, in no world except yours and some people in San Antonio is Tim Duncan legitametely mentioned in the ‘GOAT ‘ conversation.

You like numbers? Good

Six

NBA Finals
NBA Championships
NBA Finals MVPs

There’s the GOAT

Your emotions make you believe Duncan’s up there. Yes, he’s the best PF ever probably. But the Greatest Of All Time, no homie.

How many rings did the Spurs have before Duncan got there?

How many of y'all knew of Manu before he was drafted or knew about TP before the 2001 draft? Duncan made them nikkaz

Great argument, this drops kareem and magic below Duncan as well.

So its

Jordan
Duncan
Kobe
Kareem
Magic
Shaq
Bird
Steph
Lebron
Hakeem

Ill take it

*bill russell and co dont count as there was 8 teams in the nba when it started.

Dont bring up horry lol.

After rings, then we look at stats,

Horry never averaged 15ppg ever.

pretty good list here breh hard to argue against it :ehh:

More regular season MVP's than Kobe too but that shouldn't be a surprise to anybody since TD was better easily than Kobe
The regular season MVP argument is not fair becaue Kobe was robbed of like 2 regular season MVP's because he was on a shytty team.

Dirk owns Kobe and swept him when Kobe was heavily favored and the defending champs

So we putting Dirk above Kobe with this "owned in the playoffs" argument? Or lemme guess, we're shifting to something else again when convenient? :comeon:

Shameless

They only met once

Kobe & Duncan met 6x

Who else has a winning record vs Timmy in the playoffs, I’ll wait

The only times Timmy & Kobe were on the court I felt Timmy was better was 99 & 03

Every other time from up until 2013, Kobe was most def better
