Duncan was the driving force behind all his rings. As a Heat fan, 2013 should have gone the other way Pop screwed up so badly Chris doesn't get that rebound and kick it out to Ray for the clutches shot in NBA history if Duncan is out there.
Kobe's 5 rings do not carry the same weight as Duncan's because Shaq was by far the most dominant player, the alpha, 3 FMVPs. Lakers fans love to rip Gasol but without him playing Robin to Kobe's Batman, Bryant would still be stuck at 3.

So I’m a big kobe fan, but ever since he retired, he’s becoming a bit “petty” imo.

So I ask this, do we rank Tim Duncan higher than Kobe (I have no problem doing such). I mean Tim has just as many Rings, but he also has the better finals record (5-1) and also more Finals MVP’s...
