Both already passed up Kobe, don't think they should care now (Duncan always been better than Kobe All-Time, LeBron surpassed Kobe with FMVP #2 last season).

The corniest thing that has happened in Kobe's absence is the parade of random posters making references to Kobe's absence with terrible jokes for cheap daps by people who hate Kobe stans. Like people I've never seen recognized before. Yes, even cornier than Swagnificent's desperation (this nikka is ex-communicated right....). I don't know a single real NBA fan, or fan of basketball and competition that really wanted to see the Lakers play without Kobe. You'd have to be a Lakers or Kobe hater to the umpteenth degree to want that. The same people who were :to: at the idea of Duncan retiring are out here fronting like Kobe left no void at all. "We all know it's not the same without Kobe out there." - LeBron

As for this finals, individually I like the Heat's big 3 more than the Spurs as a whole, but I think I'd almost rather SA win. The Spours are the Patriots of the NBA :manny:
lol...Your transparent efforts to try and stan the people you stan while attempting to claim you're not stanning them are always funny.

Regardless of what excitement or allure Kobe brings to the table, the claim being countered was not that we would rather see Kobe hurt. It was that the NBA is terrible without Kobe. Nice strawman.

The NBA is fine. We had a classic finals last year and a rematch coming up. Kobe playing wouldn't have had any impact on contention anyway because the Lakers wouldn't have done shyt with him.

And the posts from people gloating and making fun of Kobe being out don't even compare to the avalanche of attention-whoring bullshyt from the Kobe stans here and you know. For the past two years, every time any top players falls short in anyway, Kobe stans are quick to create a thread about how that would've never happened to Kobe. Last night, the finals were set and we got a flurry of threads from Kobe stans being all up in the videos.

Kobe has the most stans in the game right now (Bron?) So we are a diverse bunch. I personally always liked the Spurs so I'll be rooting for them to win it over Miami. I think it can't be denied that Kobe brings excitement to the league like no other player (Bron?). That being said it's totally subjective either way about it being "better" or not. Last years finals was a classic and so was the 2011 finals. I feel as if the offs would have been much better with Kobe and I think you'd even agree with that, win or lose. The league came out of it's slump ratings wise and frankly excitement wise when Kobe returned to contention in 2008.

Lebron having one more FMVP, 3 more MVPs, and better stats throughout his career with Lebron having actually 3peated as the best player on his team doesn't give him a nudge over Kobe?
Nope. I dont care about 'media' awards.

By the way, the finals MVP argument doesn't work considering Kobe put up better numbers as a 2nd option as Bron did when he won finals MVP last year. FACT

Kobe stans are in a state of psychosis. The damn Clippers just sold for 2 Billion! NBA thrives with or without him...Funny thing is yall always talk about how the early 2000s are the NBA dark years but Kobe was in his prime.

Real superstars aint out there disowning his parents and forcing sexual acts on subpar white women.

Exactly this. @BarNone has been around too long to be posting crap like that.

Like any other star player, Kobe will be remembered but the game will go on just fine without him. These Stans keep claiming the league is in shambles without him and those are the shytty posts that are getting dealt with. If they'd just say "the league will miss kobe when he hangs them up" there wouldn't be any issues but there simply isn't enough homosexuality in that kind of comment to satisfy them. The stans are in a neverending battle to one up each others homosexuality.
