Outside of his numbers retirement, Kobe Bryant is a figment of the coli imagination. Nobody’s begging Kobe to make a comeback, nor really wondering how he’d be in todays nba at 25. When MJ retired in 1993, there were a malaise over the league and nobody moved on. With Kobe, we good. League moved on and got more popular.
:comeon:
MJ was still in his prime and went to play baseball only 10 years into his career and fresh off a 3 peat

Kobe was damn near 40, 20 years deep, with a broken down body and had people in rival arenas cheering him on. We knew it was over. Nobody asked jordan to come back the second time he left when he was 38.

Only on the coli, is kobe a figment of the colis imagination:russ:as if kobe isnt one of the most celebrated basketball players that ever lived. Had the most all star votes while playing like complete shyt

Why would anybody asked a 39, turning 40 year old kobe to comeback?

stef is a glorifed steve francis who let durant steal his franchise from him

:dahell:

Steph plays nothing at all like Steve Francis

he let Durant steal the franchise but he's leading the team in scoring :dwillhuh:

I give Durant his props for his performance in the finals but a lot of opportunities opened up for him due to the gravitational pull of Curry on the defense.

at the end of the day I doubt either one of those guys care who's team it is as long as they win
matter of fact Durant has gone on record saying he's fine with Steph being the leader

Like Kobe would have accepted Paul Pierce or TMAC to join HIS team

And quit acting like Pau Gasol was nothing but a decent role player before kobe bullied him into being a top big man, dude was nothing without kobe.

Kobe stans dont need to argue stats, the have common sense on our side, and the word of countless NBA players

Why do people bring this up like the suns were some average team :dwillhuh:
Kobe stans in this thread told me he had the mythical power to singlehandedly carry “trash” teams to glory by his sheer “will” to win and that’s why he has so many championships..... you should be asking them why his “will” to win took a vacation against Steve Nash instead of quoting me :yeshrug:

Nah because those cats aren't efficient.

Curry was the first ever unanimous MVP, won back to back MVPs, did what everyone always said separated Kobe from Lebron (Shooting difficult shots) but way more efficiently, has better range, and is better at shooting off the dribble from 3 while also being a better or comparable passer.

Y'all keep trying to give Kobe bonus points because "If he played in this era" BS but Lebron and Wade played in the same era but managed to be more efficient than he was.

Based off what we know now, Curry is on an entirely other planet compared to Kobe when looking at efficiently. Durant too.

I’ve legit never seen you say a good thing about Kobe. Your opinion of him is beyond tainted.

Look at those suns rosters compared to the lakers rosters, or do we only give players the benefit of the doubt for having trash teammates when its 2007 Lebron?
Why do people bring this up like the suns were some average team :dwillhuh:
According to Kobe stans in this thread Kobe actually had the advantage against the Suns due to his uniquely mythical power to singlehandedly carry his teams to glory by his sheer “will” to win ..... you should be asking them why the “will” called in sick vs the Suns ...unless of course you think that his stans are idiots :sas1:

Only one person said that to you:laff:even jordan needed Pippen. Bron needed Wade, Bosh and Kyrie. Everybody needs somebody. When Kobe finally got a team to complete, the lakers beat the suns black and blue in the playoffs

And that’s who my quote was responding to :what:

Again I don’t know what you are telling me this for ...you should be directing this towards your fellow Kobe Stan who argues otherwise :yeshrug:

You said kobe stans as if multiple kobe stans are saying that when only one nikka said that.

Michael Redd's "statistics" line up with those cherry picked Kobe numbers.

26.7 PTS , 3.7 REB, 2.3 AST, 1.2 STL, .586 TS%, .5BPM, .145,

Does that mean they are comparable talent or skill wise? Of course not. Only white people overrate statistics and try to paint it as the whole picture. Keep cooking with this troll thread tho :pachaha:

Michael Redd Stats | Basketball-Reference.com
No they don’t :mjlol:

The OP’s tweet is measuring two players performance over a 5 year stretch not 1 hot scoring season ... Michael Redds 5 year peak does not come close to these two especially in regards to assist steals and rebounds :snoop:

Who were Kobe's teammates during this 5 year sample? It makes a difference...without that information, this is just numbers without Context.

I would love to see Curry's numbers with Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, and the Italian dude who always sprints but never produced at a high level.
His scoring numbers would probably be even higher tbh ....less teammates to pass the ball to = more opportunities to shot ....just like my nikka Kobe “bean” :myman:

kobe is cut from the cloth of the goat

made for any era

a one man army capable of dragging a bum ass team to glory

that's rare company quit tripping with these goofy comparisons

*
when has kobe dragged a bum ass team to glory? I don't get this narrative..a lot of nba legends played majority of their careers with great players, like for example magic and bird always having stacked teams. Kobe had a bum ass team for 3 seasons from 2005 to 2007 and 1st round was the maximum they could get. So how is that dragging bums to glory exactly?

now i get it kobe is good for any era

but this narrative of dragging bum ass team to glory is overused, there has been only couple of examples where a one superstar had a really successful year with a bum ass team
