The Spurs fans have to admit that Kobe killed them over the years. He's their #1 nemesis of all time.

When you have 5 titles...over 3 decades...you don't really have a "nemesis"...

And if anyone had the last laugh it is Swag Antonio...lakers have literally been the worst team in the west and one of the worst teams in the league since The Spurs swept them...

Of course he killed the Spurs then. Those Spurs teams in the early 2000's had NO athleticism on the perimeter. That was the year when Derek Anderson got hurt in the previous series vs Dallas

he also killed the Spurs in 2008 with Bruce Bowen (29ppg on 50% shooting). the guy who held LeBron to 36% shooting in the 07 finals and was a pereniall all-defense 1st team selection.

Kobe killed every version of the Spurs. He prolly woulda roasted this years version as well if he was healthly.

I dont care about stats, numbers, records etc.. if you watch LeBron and Kobe play, i cant and wont understand how morons think LeBron is the better player :dahell:

co-sign. I might be a Kobe stan, but I can admit that 2000 Shaq was better than any other players i've ever seen. a legit unstopable monster. i love Kobe but if my life depended on it, a fully motivated shaq would be my first option. but LeBron? nope. never felt for a moment he was better than Kobe. in his class? yeah a couple of times. like last year against Indy and the start of game 5 this year. but never really better.

hell i thought t-mac at full strength was the closest to kobe. not lebron.

Two of those games were at or below his season averages.

Kobe stans out here breaking mathematics principles instead of finding a new player to worship.

Tim Duncan broke your hearts, and Kobe hasn't played a game in 6 months.

Same thing as 2001. Spurs had old ass Bruce Bowen, old ass Michael Finley and Ime Udoka out there trying to guard Kobe no speed or athleticism on the perimeter whatsoever

:dwillhuh: so a old ass bruce bowen held lebron to 22ppg on 36% shooting in 2007 finals?

damn bron musta been hot garbage back then considering he was owned by a bunch of unathletic old dudes. or are u gonna argue bruce bowen fell from all-defense 1st team to old bum in one off-season. :pachaha:

Explain Kobe straight up murdering the Spurs in the 4th in 02 and him dominating the Spurs again in 04 with Bruce Bowen being his primary defender both times. :ehh:

I don't get why Y'all don't Compare Duncan to Shaq or Dream

thats cause Kobe's the preeminent player in the post-Jordan NBA. everyone is compared to him. from t-mac and ai in the early 00s to lebron and durant today. obviously duncan once he achieves something great like a 5th ring will be compared to the gawd.

the true sign of greatness is how constantly kobe's on everyone minds. haters and stans alike.
