You won't believe how people still don't get how important image can be. "It's just a movie..."asses.
Nazi Germany literally ran a propaganda machine that helped them brainwash their masses. Dozens of major countries all over the globe literally control every facet of what is showed in their media.
Perception is the building blocks of reality. I told ya'll white insecurities create realities and our image has been fabricated in the wake of their insecurities.

We have NEVER controlled our image since we stepped foot on American soil.

Fast forward to today and as plugged in as the world is, media and image are major variables that should be taken into account in our progress. Many Blacks don't realize it but being constantly bombarded with negative images about ourselves has led to depression and hopelessness in a lot of people. It's ALWAYS something negative to the point where people start believing or internalizing these lies on some Focault type shyt. Media is psychological warfare and that can be just as damaging as anything else they do to us.

Sounds about right. A lot of Asians are very practical about race issues. People need to travel more b/c white media has blks thinking the world hates them when it's really not that deep. Guaranteed u might get treated better than in the U.S.

Then again when blks were talking about leaving the U.S., there were whites bytching at them about that too so many whites ironically hate us but hate the idea of us leaving as well. Craziness.

I probably got more asian friends then I do blacks and Hispanics.

You can tell that the ones that had anything negative to say seemed like the white, airheadish types. A lot of the preconceptions about black people comes from white media too. It's why idgaf about gangster movies/shows or slave movies/shows. Thats all a lot of people around the planet think of us because thats all they see

Never been to Korea b4 but there is a FOB Korean in my PhD class. He says that Koreans never interact with blks and see the worst stuff and hear the worst stuff about us online and in the news, so reactions are either pity or disdain.

Meanwhile he also said he gets it b/c everybody he meets thinks he eats cats and is friends with Kim Un Joon or starving in Korea or asexual b/c of what people say about them. In the end he doesn't care but he said it really makes his wife irritated. Lol!

I was there for an entire year bro. I’ve seen it first hand.

The younger generation L O V E black culture. There is definitely an element of appropriation but South Koreans, especially the women, can’t get enough of us. They’ll let themselves be wifed up in a heart beat.

The older generation can get kind of but that’s the ones in their 50’s and up
