It's a mediocre game all over. Mediocre story, characters and soundtrack. There's good gameplay but it's extremely repetitive. Save your money and cop something else.
I already got it when I first came out just never got around to actually playing it

I plan to buy this by the end of the year because I am obsessed with all things Mass effects. I am hoping they patch this up enough by then so it isnt as bad as I am hearing.
Reading this makes me angry and disappointed. They never really gave the game a chance to succeed. The series deserves better.

The studio that made it has been reduced in size and moved to a support studio for other studios.
There will be no sequel or dlc and any patches will be minimal at best

The first hour of ME1
Knocking out Manuel was just icing on the cake. Originally couldn't believe they let me do that but they did.
First game that let me knock someone the fukk out and keep it moving.
I remember when I first played it took me a good 5 minutes to decide between Kaiden and Ash. So many good memories playing ME.
