It's insane how he don't see tha huge talent gulf btw Prime Kobe n Pau Gasol in da triangle offense vs Old Melo, rookie Porzingis, beat up Noah n Rose in da triangle offense.

The Truth
for the last time,
phil got rings as a COACH
he is now a PRESIDENT/GM
if phil was coaching, you could make an argument (not really)
but his job when he won those rings was to shut up and coach.
his job now is to build a team from the ground up
he has done a terrible job of that
if someone bakes a cake, that doesnt mean they are qualified to run a bakery
For the last time... SO fukkING WHAT?

Thats like saying a player who has rings shouldn't be listened to as a coach because he doesn't have rings as a coach.

The fukking point is HE HAS RINGS. Maybe these coaches, players, and fans should stfu and trust the person who has WON something in the past 30 years...

But yall seem to enjoy bytching, moaning, complaining, making excuses... And watching these nikkas be ass. From the players to their fans. Sounds like loser shyt to me. Jordan, Kobe, and Shaq had talent but they didn't develop into 3 of the top 10 players ever until they won MULTIPLE championships and went back 2 back MULTIPLE times... All in the system Phil wanted to run.

And so he's already been there building the team from the ground up but if these nikkas don't want to listen then wtf else should he be doing? :laff:

Why did the knicks hire Phil fukkin Jackson without the expectations that the triangle offense would be a part of the deal?

I don't have the physical talent . You don't either so fukk Melo. You acting like Melo is your family member. I can't criticize him because you like him?? FOH mark.
nikka, you're getting just as emotional.

Pound for pound, in this debate, it makes way more sense to cape for players than for fukk ass teams.

In today's NBA, the triangle is a trash offense, especially when players executing it have little confidence over it working. It's supposed to produce more post-up opportunities, more mid-range jumpers, and a slower tempo. None of these 3 things are valued in today's game like they were 10-20 years ago. And even back then, there's a reason why few other teams were adapting the triangle during the Bulls and Laker dynasties. You need
teams to be in sync on offense, because when just one player doesn't react quick enough after ball movement the whole offense breaks down.

The only positive the triangle brings is better transition defense, since guards can get back on defense quicker. But yeah, when your best player is so obviously turned off by it and you're actively alienating your 2nd best player (who has a NTC) who wants no parts of the triangle either, just take the hint and scrap the plans.

Imagine :beli: taking a chance on a guy in the 1st round at OLB and a few years later that player shows his ass because he hates the 3-4 and feels like he's a DE...his locker would be cleaned out the next day.

KP is lucky his one-dimensional, cupcake ass is still with the organization after pulling shyt like this. You cannot win in this league with a soft, perimeter-minded big. It doesn't happen. Dirk was the one exception, but even then Tyson was the move that gave Dallas the defensive balance they needed.

KP needs to get his mind right, learn the cotdamn basic fundamentals of playing defense (which he has no idea how to do, hence the foul trouble) and develop his game on the low post. If he wants to chuck outside shots and be a 7'3" shooting guard Phil should get his ass out of NY.

Why should he be lucky to be a knick at this current moment?:mjlol:

Phil is to blame for a good portion of this issue...He wants to coach from the gm's seat...Im sure he dosent have a pulse of whats going on and thats whats rubbing people the wrong way..

Its like a general in the command center not listening to the captain who is actually on the battlefield with the soldiers...

He dosent want to coach, but he wants to call plays:gucci:

that undermines the coach and that causes friction:francis:

Your example makes zero sense . And your the reason fa don't want to come to NYC . If Phil wants to preach the triangle fire Horny and coach that's the bottom line .. or give rambis trash ass the job (which he won't do either because then he'd have to take Some blame ) Phil accepts ZERO blame for the bad three seasons and his horrible front office job . The only one move he gets credit for is KP but he's bashing him as well meaning he's done pretty much nothing

and he praising rambis who was trash with the Knicks while bashing the head coach . He's causing more dysfunction with every comment and blames everyone else for not being ok with it

What are you talking about ? The triangle isn't some magical fix all . Phil could of hired Rambis to run the triangle if he wanted instead of a Coach who specializes in a high tempo offense . He. Chose to hire horny and. Rambis as a defensive coach ( defensive sucked all year ( yet he's praised ) he chose to hire fisher as well.
