Imagine :beli: taking a chance on a guy in the 1st round at OLB and a few years later that player shows his ass because he hates the 3-4 and feels like he's a DE...his locker would be cleaned out the next day.

KP is lucky his one-dimensional, cupcake ass is still with the organization after pulling shyt like this. You cannot win in this league with a soft, perimeter-minded big. It doesn't happen. Dirk was the one exception, but even then Tyson was the move that gave Dallas the defensive balance they needed.

KP needs to get his mind right, learn the cotdamn basic fundamentals of playing defense (which he has no idea how to do, hence the foul trouble) and develop his game on the low post. If he wants to chuck outside shots and be a 7'3" shooting guard Phil should get his ass out of NY.
Yeah, KP is the lucky one, not the Knicks:deadmanny::deadmanny::deadmanny: . Your example sucks because football players don't have guaranteed contracts for the most part and have a lesser impact individually than basketball players, so they're a lot easier to replace than basketball players and have less leverage than them too. Regardless of how you feel about KP, he has a shytload of value, was considered a borderline all-star player in his second year, and is widely considered to to be one of the very best prospects in the league, so he has leverage, like it or not. I respect any player who exercises their leverage in this way; fukk a team and it's owners if it going to show nothing but disregard towards it's players. Plus, Phil has done a shytty job outside of drafting KP, why silently follow a guy who proves to be terrible at it repeatedly if you have can have a say in the matter? In a lot of ways, Phil actually owes still having a job to KP, and even then one of his scouts had to convince him to draft KP. So fukk Phil Jackson, he should get his ass out of NY, he won't be missed:blessed:
Cats still siding with Phil is very telling :jbhmm:

I tried to give Phil the benefit of the doubt for the longest, but after hearing him spout all that dumb shyt yesterday, I don't see how anyone can support him....

I'll drive to NY to pick him up for the Bulls.

:russ:at him being lucky to be part of an organization that has a GM that hires coaches and tells them what offense to run, an organization that gave :noah: 72M, an organization that has one of their most beloved players dragged out of their stadium by security because of beef with the owner, an organization that has a GM that publicly shyts on a player they gave a max deal to 3 years ago with a NTC.

For the last time... SO fukkING WHAT?

Thats like saying a player who has rings shouldn't be listened to as a coach because he doesn't have rings as a coach.

The fukking point is HE HAS RINGS. Maybe these coaches, players, and fans should stfu and trust the person who has WON something in the past 30 years...

But yall seem to enjoy bytching, moaning, complaining, making excuses... And watching these nikkas be ass. From the players to their fans. Sounds like loser shyt to me. Jordan, Kobe, and Shaq had talent but they didn't develop into 3 of the top 10 players ever until they won MULTIPLE championships and went back 2 back MULTIPLE times... All in the system Phil wanted to run.

And so he's already been there building the team from the ground up but if these nikkas don't want to listen then wtf else should he be doing? :laff:

Why did the knicks hire Phil fukkin Jackson without the expectations that the triangle offense would be a part of the deal?

He should go down there and coach like Doc Rivers is doing..its really that simple:manny:

The man is overstepping his boundaries as GM..

Give the coach a chance and let him coach

How can a coach actually implement his own system when this nikka phil is basically bogarding shyt:gucci:

Exactly phils praised for not trading all his draft picks , not signing rose to some huge contract(negated by the Noah signing which I admit I was defending at first because I live prime Noah ) and drafting KP ( which was the scouting department not him who did the leg work) the way he handled those interviews last year bashing jr shump and melo (and praising himself ) should of been a bigger red flag that This all woujd happen . Phil doesn't seem to understand the modern player and unlike pop can't adjust to the times.

Well isn't that the reason theyre focusing on it over the summer?

Like I said, I'm just wondering why nikkas are so against a system that helped win 11 championships... Especially with people who never won shyt even without it :hubie:

And again... SA running the same/similar halfcourt system and theyre 2nd in the toughest division without only running and gunning

The most recent win happening a decade ago, where you had 4 of the best players to ever play in the league (Kobe, Shaq, Jordan and Pippen) for all of them. There isn't one player as good as any of those guys, on the Knicks. When has a mediocre team ever won anything significant running that system?

Either get the players that fit the system or change the system. Who on the Knicks even has a game the really fits the triangle? Hell, when they were playing well in the beginning of the season they weren't running as many triangle sets. And even then I feel like I heard murmurs if Phil voicing his displeasure with them not running it enough.

Who does that when your team has found a way to win games somewhat consistently?
