I been into rap since '83 and told everyone in that other thread nobody gave a fukk about Afrika Bambaataa back then. People argued, talking about "nah, he was real hip-hop", "b bu but KRS said"....now look at you.
Unless you're pushing 50 Afrika Bambaataa was not a factor in hip-hop for you growing up. So I have no problem cutting his ass off. And KRS too, for that matter. The only logical thing he said was "well, there's no conviction" and "he gotta deal with the accusations" but all that "some of us have to be infallible" sounds like he don't care if Bambaataa is guilty, anyway.
