I totally disagree. It's an issue of justice for his victims. And they were the ones that brought it to the surface, obviously as a way to heal.

I'm not saying we should shyt on Bambaataa's contributions to hip hop. No point going overboard on that. And Bam is still a Black man who did great things for Black people. We can acknowledge that while acknowledging that he did horrible things.

I'm so sick of Bambatty supporters trying to turn this into a race issue. The people that broke the story, have been covering it, and are providing facts about it are all black people that care about black children being molested. I haven't seen a majority white publication even address this outside of an article here and there.

There's a reason that pedophiles are viewed as being the worst of the worst in prison. Sexually abusing a child is one of the most heinous things you can do, and in most cases destroys their ability to live normally for the rest of their lives. If KRS or anybody else saying there's bigger issues in the world had a family member that was a victim of Bambatty's perversion they would be singing a different tune. When you don't address sexual assault and you sweep it under the rug all you do is open the door for even more children to be preyed upon.

KRS was asked about how the accusations against Bambatta affected his place in hip hop, as I understand it. He responded by saying he didn't give a fukk, that it had nothing to do with his place in hip hop.

But he was not condoning molestation or giving Bambatta a pass.
