Also doing some elementary mathematics if he were to receive 8k per show he mentioned, that would 312 thousand per year. And he factually has received more than that for certain shows. This is not including all his other shows he's making money off, nor the book royalties, album royalties past and present, merchandise, the lecture circuit (which can be very profitable), features, DVD's, licensing (in some high profile adverts by the way) and other revenue sources. If you knew his history there's also other business enterprises he had where some of the people paid quite large fees.
Also if you know KRS's history, he has been approached by large companies for advertisement too. KRS is a business man, and while he may have booking agents, he also has his own booking agency and companies too.

Now that's not to say he doesn't do any shows for less, a lot of artists do all different shows for smaller fees as well as larger because they are hustlers and just about getting money, it ain't about image for them, it's about getting money, but we have people on here who have booked him for 10g's for a show, I know people who have booked him for around 15 - 20 g's, and most importantly KRS himself has said the quote I mentioned. So the bullshyt is completely, utterly and definitively dead, cause ANYBODY talking contrary talk is bullshyting, because KRS HIMSELF said what he does and he knows more than anybody.

Bro, I hear you and I'm sure that's an accurate quote. I'll be the first to tell you that I have NO first hand experience with booking artists but it just seems unbelievable that an artist of KRS' stature and who is known to rock big venues, is only taking in $2-3,000 a show.
