Yeah, and you've never tried to say otherwise, I do have experience booking artists though, also working alongside others who are booking artists, I know exactly how this shyt can work and the truth about what everyone was saying. Even the dude who said the takings (food/drink) thing wasn't wrong, just if that happens it normally happens for more underground/local artists, not normally the bigger ones. They sometimes give a percentage of takings for the night to the artist, because they are bringing many more people into the venue who spend more money. See what I'm saying? But it works differently, sometimes venue hire is free , the house keeps all the takings but the artist/promoter keeps the entry/ticket fee. It works in MANY different ways, dumb motherfukkers trying to simplify it are ignorant as hell. Plus they are not familiar with ALL levels of the game/industry, so they are speaking on 1 thing when it varies depending on who you are and stature and all sorts of shyt. I doubt anybody is going to challenge what I'm saying because it's the indisputable truth, so unless they are going to make themselves look like an idiot they won't. That's why they ducking this and trying to keep that other bullshyt thread going.
Anything I say is a fact is a fact, I don't even talk on shyt I don't know about, most artists I don't know exactly what they are making. KRS-One is an artist I AM aware of what he's been making, I've enquired MYSELF about KRS-One, I know people who have booked KRS-One, in different countries infact, U.S, U.K, and quite a few more actually. But what I said originally is KRS has been making between 10-20k within the last few years off shows, that is true, and KRS himself says his usual fee is 16k, but he also said for a venue like this. So does he do smaller venues for around varying prices? Yes, but he's still getting paid between 15-20k for some shows. Possibly even more, I don't know, I'm only speaking on what I DO know.
That fool tried to lie and say KRS only performed infront of 300 people or less with a venue capacity of less than 300 people. BOTH of these lies have been disproven with video evidence. I have the venue capacities for several of his shows, some were in January of this year and it was like 1000's, he has an upcoming show where the capacity is 3200. Some of these gates are going into like 100's of THOUSANDS, so to say KRS is getting 20k is hardly unrealistic, for some of these shows he could well be getting more. By that idiots own ignorant calculations KRS would get more.
Yes, I do actually agree, normally I think most times people should be able to be very free but when you are saying disproven lies just to troll? It sounds more like a bushes thread than a booth thread. Where he can just lie with similar minded ignorant dikkheads. I don't like the false picture people like him try to paint, it's not healthy, it's negative and most importantly it's untrue, we need the real on shyt like this, for everyone, particularly the youths.
