If he accomplished "waaay more than Pac" at 25 then how come Pac is the general consensus GOAT hiphop artist and continues to be one of the most famous and influential figures in the world.. compared to KRS who outside of a fading group of nostalgic hiphop heads is virtually unspoken of and irrelevant.

KRS is 47 which means he had a 22 year advantage to make his mark and yet he's still nowhere near Pac's level in any category which speaks to not only how ahead of his time Pac was but also the stupidity of this thread. :heh:

by the time Krs was 25, the age Pac was when he died, he had accomplished WAY MORE than Pac. Pac accomlished more in death than life. People tend to celebrate death and marginalize the living.

You're completely missing the point.

People aren't celebrating death. As a rule people don't celebrate death.

What they do celebrate is what the dead were able to do while they were alive and without a doubt Pac was able to reach and relate to a much wider array of people. You can't claim that Krs evoked anywhere near as much passion as Pac did.

I love Krs but had he died at 25 we would not talk about him the way we do Pac because he did not embody the culture for anywhere near as many people as Pac did.

I think KRS-One embodies the culture as much if not more than anyone. He IS Hip Hop. Pac looked up to KRS and KRS thought and thinks very highly of Pac too.

Pac looked up and respected KRS.

So does 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Nas and a whole generation of your fav artists. Believe that.

YouTube those videos and u will hear it straight from their mouths if u don't believe me.

FACT

Just seen this, this is what I was saying. You can take a whole slew of artists that hold KRS in the highest regard,

Nas, Jay Z, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, M.O.P, Brother Ali, Supernatural, Ras Kass, K-Rino, Slaughterhouse, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Queen Latifah, Redman, Method Man, Common, and countless other artists hold a lot of respect for KRS. Old, new, whatever, KRS is the truth.

Lol at ME missing the point
Yes YOU are missing the point. You're comparing a populist artist to a culture warrior and wondering why one is more revered than the other.

Accomplishment is subjective so it makes no sense to frame things in such terms especially when they were aiming for completely different things.
