The episode starts when I walk down the block and...

Mad Izm has to be one of the best beats of all time ya? I mean it doesn't really get better than that.

shyt is ill. it's just drums and that little guitar, but it works so well. plus that Buckshot scratch for the hook

definitely one of KRS' best productions

Yeah. Sometimes less is more. I mean the instant I heard that song I lost my shyt. What a fukkin song.

Hey, you're in Florida right? I stayed in Tampa briefly and there was a DJ named mad Linx....he played a channel live song I've only ever heard on his show.....it's 'sex for the sport PART 2'!!!! Entirely different song.

You ever heard it?

You're completely missing the point.

People aren't celebrating death. As a rule people don't celebrate death.

What they do celebrate is what the dead were able to do while they were alive and without a doubt Pac was able to reach and relate to a much wider array of people. You can't claim that Krs evoked anywhere near as much passion as Pac did.

I love Krs but had he died at 25 we would not talk about him the way we do Pac because he did not embody the culture for anywhere near as many people as Pac did.

This right here :wow:

KRS 1 was never as big as Pac when Pac was alive and was at his peak and he never was as big after Pac died.

Plenty of young heads be listening to Pac's music but hardly KRS 1. You know why? Because it sounds tacky and outdated

edit: damn, DefJam really tried to throw a wrench in the gears of the Heal movement. I remember hearing about LL and Run, but KRS also said 3rd Bass was supposed to be on the track
