Massive let down. After coming off Kuruption and Streetz Is A Mutha, I felt like this was a let down. Album felt all over the place with no real direction, he wasn't sure if he wanted to rhyme hard or make singles. It was just a mess of a project IMO.

Had some interesting guest appearances like Whitey Ford/DJ Lethal, that Nore skit, etc but it just I dunno, it didn't feel like a Kurupt album.

You summed it up perfectly, the Production and Guests are all A1 on this album and carry it for sure.

Kurupt definitely isn't at the peak he was on Streetz but I enjoy the highs "Space Boogie", "On, Onsite", "Can't Go Wrong" and "The Hardest" slightly more than the highs on Streetz. But the lows on here "Its Over" :dahell: are a lot lower.

Dope album overall definitely at least a 4/5

Kurupts lyrics were trash But I still enjoy the fukk out of this album thanks to the production...pretty alarming though how Kurupt could go from Dogg Food and Streetz to these :flabbynsick: rhymes

Hate On Me is a fukkin banger, dont know why but the production on that one is hypnotic as fukk.
Plus soopafly rips his verse :wow:
Damani is ok, but Kurupts verse sucks ass :mjlol:
Shouldve given that beat to somebody else like snoop or someone else from the dpg camp

Damani had one of the best verses on the album to me

"I change hoes...like I change clothes
young devil in the city of angels" :wow::wow::wow::wow:

Kurupt's opening line "Why do b1tches blow dikks?":ohhh::ohhh::ohhh::mjlol:

That shyt remains unbelievable to me till this day. In a couple years he went from SLAUGHTERING every single fukkin track he was on flow wise & especially lyrically to shyt like his parts on "Hate On me" or "fukk Da World", shyt is sad really

Just compare this right here:

Now my rhymes, are as potent as pipebombs
It takes time to concoct rhymes like mines
Like land mines, all set to explode
Microphones, all set to unload
So, watch the means, watch the zone
I'm in a temple with a million dead MC microphones
And they all wanted back by their peeps
Sleep if you dare, cause death catch nikkas when they sleep
Beware of the consequences, it's senseless
To face a prosecuted life or death MC sentence

Travel through your inner thoughts
Just to vision how far I can get, explore to the inner core

And ain't stopped yet, continue the journey
Cause all that shyt you kick just don't concern me
You can't U-turn me, back... to... reality... where nikkas pack straps
And they mentality react so violently to leave MC's breathin silently
With hollow point talons for the violence
Ain't no harmin me,ain't got no love for no hoes in harmony
It's easy to find MC's to execute
Chances of survival too small to compute

Recognize, like this was Samuel Sneed
I grip the microphone continue with my devilish deeds
Cause all I see, in my M-I-N-D
Is D-P-G, for L-I-F-E
And all I see, on the M-I-C
Is another mangled MC opposin me
Supposed to be, regulatin in this rap era
Made one error up against the microphone terror
It takes two to tangle
I told Daz don't worry like Keith Murray I'mma strangle
MC's, with the microphone cord
You don't faze, your thoughts been invaded and explored
I know the ins and the outs to you buddy
I know where you live, and how you make your money

I came to violate you, desecrate you, I create two
Murderous scenes, can you relate to

with that fukk da world parts. Can't even tell which is worse, his retarded style fukk a bytch, suck a dikk, motherfukker, motherfukker, motherfukker, bytch nikka verses or his fake lyrical parts where he just rhymes words that dont even make remotely sense..

PS:
still waitin on yo opinion on a couple of songs in that "da game" thread breh :salute:

Don't know if you peeped the Against The Grain album but it was more of the same...Kurupt was spitting hot garbage over surprisingly good beats by Death Row producers...only this time he started calling himself Gotti Bin Ladin in almost every track:mjlol:
