I was just sitting here and thinking...I can't think of any aspect of ball where he's better than Taintum. Hell, I can't think of too many where he's particularly close. They might be in the same realm as on ball defenders, but JT is the 40 minute lead offensive cog for his team and Kuz is a 7th man. They shouldn't even be close on that end if you think about it.

Tatum is clearly reaching elite level...

but ill give Kuzma the benefit of the doubt after seeing his rookie season....as soon as LBJ and AD came on, he completely lost his identity...but he was as good as the best players in that rookie class
He was older and more mature than everyone else in his class and while they kept improving he just kinda peaked in that first season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kuzma went to a bad team and put up 20-23 ppg but overall he is not on Tatums level.


I would: we saw Kuzma for numerous stretches when both Lebron and AD was out and he never showed he a consistent 20 point scorer.
