Like I've said a few times he isn't some can't miss baseball prospect. A lot of people thought the A's reached on him. If he really is going to be the 1st or 2nd QB taken then he should go football. He made me a believer this year

Now if the As gave him the deal that the Yankees gave former Michigan QB Drew Henson which was 6 years 17 million guaranteed then I would say go to baseball

Henson was a flopped in baseball and ended up out the league after playing like 6 games

He’s working with the Yankees today

This is ultimately going to be what gets him drafted later than he would be. Teams don't even know if he's gonna play football.

    He's got a weird situation.

In terms of natural ability, he's way more ready as a football player. The ONLY issue holding him back is being 5'9". If you put Kyler Murray's physical skills in Dwayne Haskins' body, he'd probably go #1 overall.

His baseball ability is raw. He hit .122 his first year at Oklahoma and then .297 last year. Huge improvement but that's against college pitchers. Kyler is smart. Baseball is going to be a grind for him no matter what. He's not Ken Griffey or Mike Trout...it'll take some years and work just to get to the majors and then it's a crapshoot as to what he'd do in MLB. With football, he'll probably get a chance to make an impact much sooner. He'll make more money and with the nature of the NFL today, it won't take long to figure out if he has "it" or if he doesn't. By his mid-20's, he'll either stay in the NFL and maybe do a little baseball on the side or quit football and go all in with baseball. Doing football first will give him more income in the short-term. Baseball isn't going anywhere.
