but if he went on a rant shytting on black folks it woulda been business as usual.
That says volumes about the Black folks who’d sit back and allow it and continue to support him than them. Don’t get aggy cause a sect of people don’t stand for disrespect (perceived or otherwise). Maybe we should do the same.

Can't trust modern athletes to sacrifice their careers.....only a few are really built for that revolutionary life....thats why Muhammed Ali is the GOAT....ain't box for 5 years in his prime, almost went to jail and still had to deal with racism.
who is going to sacrifice their career for hoteps? :mjlol:
disrespectful to include Ali in there

What I tell y'all 🤷🏾‍♂️?

As always, the bottom line reigns supreme.

Remember that before you go around championing and proclaiming individuals as leaders, martyrs, and such.

How a person moves means more than anything being said.

Eventually we'll know soon enough if Kyrie is about his bottom line or not 🤷🏾‍♂️.

If he does the six things the Nets want him to do then that means he's about his bottom line and therefore I'd take things he say with a grain of salt moving forward.

OR...

If he decides to do none of those things and sit on the sidelines suspended for the rest of the season (because I doubt they'll cave-in and reinstate him) then he's making a stance and you could take him for his word moving forward.

That's how I'm gonna be measuring all this 🤷🏾‍♂️ we'll know if he's for real or just in a momentary phase by whichever route he chooses to go.

I don’t expect athletes to be martyrs, but just mean what you say or don’t say it. I’d rather a athlete collect a check and be quiet then some faux revolutionary who says whatever then when things get hot they become very quiet.
A lot of athletes actually do that, yet you have people bytching and complaining about it trying to make them something that they aren’t. Hell, Dez Bryant essentially said that exact same thing, yet people couldn’t accept it.

People stay wanting celebrities and athletes to speak on issues and to risk it all when a lot of them just want to make their money without those type of issues.

I hate when people do this.

Act like the messenger is more important than the message.

All that matter is...

Is the quote accurate, or not?
:childplease:

Is it insightful, or not?

We don't know whether it was Voltaire, some Nazi, or Joe Exotic who said it.

And it doesn't matter.

Shut the fukk up.

The quote is not accurate or insightful, we know that Nazi made it, and the messenger/source *always* matters.
