So basically "shut up black man and dribble" :unimpressed:

I do hope you are NOT BLACK.

My father raised me in the 80s and 90s in NYC. My father is Dominican (so we had machismo installed in us). Things are much different in 2016.
I'm not mexican, but I love all my Mexican brothers and sisters. For the sake of The Coli, let's just say that I'm half Puerto Rican/half Dominican. Complexion-wise, I look like Daddy Yankee. Fat AA girl from St.Louis at the hostel in Las Vegas was surprised when she found out I'm not part-Black. I guess the way I carried myself and my "swagger" had her thinking I might be.

how are any of us free if those kids aren't though. we all got the same connection to them as kyrie.
are none of us free? :mjcry:
Debs (1855 — 1926) "Years ago, I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on earth... While there is a lower class, I am in it, while there is a criminal element, I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free..."

technically them cacs have as much connection to them kids in the congo as kyrie does, so they not free either by his logic. nobody is free.
"A free slave has no more a connection to slavery than a slave owner does." Thats your silly ass logic.

I agree wholeheartedly. Perhaps Kyrie should just quit ball and do this full-time.
I believed that he wouldve if Brooklyn had tried to push him more. I honestly thought he was going to just fukk it and retire after the Jew shyt. I saw him doing his advocacy full time if so.

no it isn't. you just made up some random silly logic and applied it to me. :dead:
kyrie acting like he was personally as much a victim of child labor as the children are is out of pocket and offensive. You dumb as hell to defend his smart dumb babble.
Reminds me of the time when one of my coworkers took off work because my cousin died. :francis:

also yall didn't even address the fact that he was wrong, No tesla's are made or manufactured in the Congo. Thats all done entirely in the USA.
At worst he is buying raw materials from the Congo. So essentially Kyrie isn't asking tesla to improve labor practices. Tesla has nothing to do with Congo labor,
he's essentially just asking people to boycott the Congo and not do business with them until they improve their own labor practices, he just too smart dumb to realize it.

and thats me giving him the benefit of the doubt, i don't even know if tesla does any business with the Congo at all.

Because you are playing basketball for millions of dollars Kyrie. :what:

I’m all for speaking out and bringing awareness to stuff. But the way this guy goes about everything is just dumb as fukk.

Why not just say “i would like to bring awareness to the kids working in colbalt mines”??

Dude is a narcissist. It’s always gotta be about him. Like we should feel sorry for him cause he gets to play basketball for millions but he still doesn’t feel free cause he cares about the less fourtunate.

I’m tired of this nikka :camby:

Do you have any alternatives?
Maybe the African Continental Free Trade Area can create incentives to refine the minerals in Africa and keep the more of the supply chain and wealth generated in Africa.

The trade war and sanctions between the West and China are heating up and they both need access to these resources to keep the power running, hopefully a smart Africa leader like Lumumba can take advantage of this conflict to create a seller’s market. And hopefully the USA doesn’t assassinate them like they killed Lumumba.

All these solutions would be opposed by trillion dollar multinational conglomerates.

But these are subjects I doubt most of y’all keep up with, most of y’all are ignorant of what’s going on in Africa. That why I hate discussing anything relating to Africa on here, the average Chinese National on Twitter has a more realistic understanding of African politics and economics than a Coli poster.

Congo has been independent since 1960. I'm not trying to hear any excuses, I absolutely hate how people will beat their chests about Africa but when critiques are made will start making excuses
This,
i'll take back what i said if someone can show me a Tesla owned and operated facility of any sort in the Congo.
But for now this seems like deflecting.

You implied that Kyrie doesnt have any more of a connection to black child labor than the white men who are using black child laborers. Thats a 1:1 analogy I gave you. If you think its ridiculous, understand thats how you sounded when you said it.

I'll give you an easier one based on your logic. "A black man has no more of a connection to George Floyd's death than the white cop who killed him." This is the shyt you are saying champ.

I'm not going to pretend to be a child labor in colbalt mines expert, but I'm about drop something some folks aren't going to like.

Child labor is more common than not throughout the history and whether it was an issue or not is relative to the average wealth of a society. The west has developed enough that a family can send it's kids to school and the parents go to work and that is enough to at least feed the family three meals a day. This is all relative here as well, but I think it's safe to say most people in our country this situation will allow a family not end up on the streets.

In some countries, no one can afford to not work and even when everyone is working including your kids, you still starving. So, westerners maybe should be aware of how they look at these things and it's through western eyes. Ever since I heard a story years ago about how in India, after a lot of Western activists pressured the government to outlaw child labor there, I think it was specific to the textile industry, they caved. The unintended consequences, is that a lot of the younger people working were some of the biggest source of incomes in their house and some families ended up in shyt situations because someone made a source of income illegal. Mostly white westerners who come from societies where this shyt is not tolerated dictate to other less fortunate countries they are morally wrong but those people saw it as a way to put food on the table.

Also, as far Kyrie, I didn't watch the clip, but you're free if you don't live in such a shytty situation that kids have to work to put food on the table. Folks take for granted, not necessarily Kyrie, but people in general, what they do have. If you live in the US, relative to some people in the world, you have it pretty good. That is just facts. :yeshrug:

Why are the leaders of those countries allowing their children to be subjected to such harsh exploitive conditions?

Sounds like a failure of leadership or blatant corruption.

Why is that the first thing you point out, you might really be a cac breh, you absoolve cacs of every single thing so you can throw it back at other black people:camby:
