Lillard ALSO played with LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicholas Batum, Wesley Matthews and JJ Hickson surrounding him compared to Kyrie playing with Antawn Jamison, Tristan Thompson, Alonzo Gee, and Anthony Parker surrounding him his rookie year

True but I see a poised leader every time I watch Lillard I can't say the same for Kyrie though. I remember watching a Cavs game when they were beating the Pacers by 20+ pts in the 4th quarter and than slowly but surely the Pacers kept eating away at the lead and they ending up winning the game. Kyrie did nothing to stop Indy's momentum and it just seemed like he was content on getting his. I know it's only one game I referenced but I just don't see Kyrie ever being a CP3/Drose/Rondo/Parker/Westbrook type of player who can lead your team. I just see guys like Curry, Lillard, Lawson and Rubio being better leaders and decision makers in crunch time.

Fair point breh.

Hopefully this season will make the picture alittle clearer, being this is his 3rd season he's entering into, so I expect him to really show out with more help around than the past 2 seasons

I guess well just have to see what he does this year. If Kyrie and Wall can lead there teams into the playoffs or above 40 wins then I

Yup I guess well just have to see how he does this year. If he can lead the Cavs to a playoff spot or above 40 wins than he's definitely a difference maker. But if the Cavs are in the lottery again next year than it's safe to start questioning if he has any effect on his teams wins and loses.

Thats what I'm saying, cats like Iverson would have the cavs as contenders in his prime. Kyrie is good but not a CP3 in N.O. type of a franchise player.

What has Paul ever lead his team too?

AS Jalen Rose said in his podcast players in the inner circle of the league think people who never played the game overhype Paul :mjpls:

He led the Hornets to 3 playoff appearances with a shytty roster. He made the Clippers relevant again and made them title contenders. He's the best floor general and one of the top steals leaders. All were saying is let Kyrie actually accomplish something before we put him in the top 5 PG category.

This highlight reel doesn't really say much about Kyrie. His handles are pure stupidity tho. He finishes at the rim better than most guys his size.

Buuut...going up against defensive powerhouses like Jose Calderon, Dame Lillard (according to Synergy one of THEE WORST one-on-one defenders in the L) Chris Duhon, a :dead: Jason Kidd, Kemba Walker, Greivis Vasquez, and Jeremy Lin. :mjpls:

I am a big fan of his but he's played, since college, about 60% of the games he could have...not his fault, but historically not a good sign for how his career will shape up :yeshrug:

Would love to see him take the standard 3rd Year Leap and actually give his team a fighting shot at the playoffs but like my other Man 50 Grand Steph Curry... he got paper mâché legs and glass wrists.

Kyrie Irving is the best PG in the NBA breh. He has the total arsenal at PG and is not limited in facet of the game.
candidate for worst post in this section. words cant describe how fukking stupid youve gotta be to honestly think kyrie of all people has a realistic chance of being labeled as the best PG in the nba. His game is flooded with flaws
As fun as Kyrie and Wall are to watch they have no impact on wins and loses
breh did you watch the wizards last year? they had a .500+ record with wall in the line up and playing. for kyrie tho i strongly agree. even when he plays the cavs are still a shyt team

Let me know when Kyrie starts playing defense and leads a team to a winning record or .500 at least....
