Kyrie needs a SG that is a strong/big perimeter defender and be a consistent spot up shooter. shyt, if Boobie Gibson was 3 inches taller he would be it.

Waiters/Miles/Zeller off the bench all compliment each other.

I think they banked on Beal or MKG falling. It didn't happen. They rated Waiters highly and did not know if he would be there if they traded down (remember he pulled out of the combine because a team promised to pick him). Grant swung for him.

Tristan is a whole other story. I've heard they legit tried to trade down to pick him later but no one wanted the #4 spot. 2011 was a weird draft when you look at how it ended up.
