which goes back to my previous point... he would get posted on like crazy...

in the end.. those dude are probably playing thier best fit..

its why to me Dwyane wade is so amazing.. yeah he got 3-4 standing reach on Monta.. but also 3-4 under the big shooting guard..

yet he is the current number 2 SG, maybe 1 if he didnt have to share with LBJ this much.

i agree with you wholeheartedly..kyrie is where he fits..at the 1

People keep saying that there is a lack of good 2-guards in the league..But in reality is there are plenty...They are just undersized and being forced to fit into a "point guard" role...

A Buckeye State Of Mind
I think they honestly picked Waiters to be the James Harden type off the bench.

Kyrie needs a SG that is a strong/big perimeter defender and be a consistent spot up shooter. shyt, if Boobie Gibson was 3 inches taller he would be it.

Waiters/Miles/Zeller off the bench all compliment each other.:what:

:what: to be drafted that high, they better be expecting more than that. Just like with Tristan I like him but not at that spot. If nothing was there that could better the team, which tthere was, why wouldn't they just trade down:usure:
There is :flabbynsick: GM's all over the league. He could've swung a deal with someone.

I think they banked on Beal or MKG falling. It didn't happen. They rated Waiters highly and did not know if he would be there if they traded down (remember he pulled out of the combine because a team promised to pick him). Grant swung for him. :manny:

Tristan is a whole other story. I've heard they legit tried to trade down to pick him later but no one wanted the #4 spot. 2011 was a weird draft when you look at how it ended up.

nikkas was legit saying Derrick Williams should have went #1 .
