If I'm the Nets I'm interested in Knicks cause they actually have good players to send back in Randle and Barrett
Lakers only if they send back AD
Mavs package that includes Brunson
Heat have trash to send back unless they include Bam (which they wouldn't)

Draft picks ain't it for the Nets cause none of these are high lottery teams and they don't have their own picks till like 2028 or some shyt

And idiots in this thread think the Nets are going to trade him for trash are out of their mind. They legit have every bit of leverage cause none of these teams can even sign him outright and no he's not taking some bullshyt exemption
Nets are dealing Kyrie in this situation because he’s a toxic asset…he’s likely not pulling back a major haul anymore …the leverage isn’t there really … a couple draft picks and young players are about all id expect if a deal were to be made …if not they can keep his nutty ass and deal with whatever he brings to them on another max deal

Tbh, I prefer we just sign him for the low. Then we could either keep Russ and fill out the roster and go talent heavy or we can trade Russ and build up some depth.

AD/Bron/Kyrie a better fit than last years trio but the roster is still flawed. :ehh:

They don’t want him. Sean marks went at him in the end of season press conference

According to Nets general manager Sean Marks, Irving isn’t guaranteed a spot. He discussed the guard’s future at a press conference on Wednesday. NBA writer Brian Mahoney tweeted the news:

“Marks essentially said he wants players that are going to be “available” and want to be part of something “bigger than themselves”.

Without actually saying Kyrie’s name, that was a clear shot at the Nets PG. Irving played just 29 games in 2021-22 after missing substantial time because of his vaccine saga”

Kyrie is Elegible to a 4 year $186 million($47 million per season) extension. Too much money to tie up to a guy that’s not reliable.

Even if they were hard capped they would basically just have the same roster from Last season just swap Kyrie for Westbrook.

Maybe trade THT and Nunn for another pick or two and fill out the rest with vet mins.

Imo in order of return for BK

1. Heat. BK gets Herro, Kyle Lowry (maybe Duncan Robinson too)

Herro is slept on. Played in that system and still shined. I think he’s capable of a averaging 25 a game

2. Clippers. BK gets: Zubac, Norm Powell, Reggie Jackson

Bk gets a solid PG, size, and extra scorer with Powell. Imo Zubac is slept on as a prospect

3. Mavs. BK gets Jaylen Brunson. I could be mistaken but i think if you do a S&T the player can only be traded by himself. If so, I actually like this trade but it suffers bc you don’t add any depth

4. Lakers. BK absolutely would not want Westbrook. But if amother team, say Indy, would take Westbrook and BK could end up with Brogdon, it could be a good deal. Indy gets Westbrook, THT, a BK first, and the lakers 2025 first, BK gets Brogdon, Lakers get Kyrie

N/a- Philly. Wouldn’t happen
N/a- Knicks. Do not want Julius Randle

We’d be banking on Monk resigning again for the low plus another young player or two following that same logic. We should do well with the undrafted market so we might could get better youth production than last year.

But if we really considering this, I’d be trying my best to use the least amount of resources. If Kyrie crazy enough to sign for 6 then that gives the team much more flexibility. And before anyone says it, yes I know this scenario is nearly impossible even for a flat earther.

Kyrie raises the Nets ceiling more than anyone else they could realistically get. Plus the cap will probably spike again in 2025 with new TV deal.
