Isn't the goal to win a championship?
Yeah but what is KYRIE'S goal?

Answer

Those are not the answers of a man who understand his role in this whole thing: basketball player

You not managing shyt. Your job is to play point guard for the Brooklyn fukking Nets

Everything else is you giving a fukk when its not your turn to

Understood but Kyrie and KD still give the Nets their best shot at a ring.

Mo Bamba shot 38% from 3 on good volume as a 7 footer. They're not going to be able to afford him. Someone is going to give him a nice contract

Might be willing to bet on himself for 1 year. His injury history could hurt potential contracts this summer.

All they need is Lowry and Yurt to make that work. Anything else for a player who doesn't want to be there and that the organization wants to be done with would be dumb. Plus if they get him they still have Duncan and Herro to make more moves with.

I have it on good authority that @smitty22 is originally from Australia.

He said damn near the same thing during the season when he was with Boston, that he is resigning in the summer :dead:

The NBAPA gon beat Kyrie’s ass if he, as a player that puts up 27/6/4 on damn near 50/40/90 splits, signs that MLE deal.

The precedent that shyt will set… :mjlol:

What precedent? Most players don't have the money Kyrie has gotten on or off the court. And you can tell that the IT and DeMarcus Cousins injuries got the league shook, hence why more players are signing extensions instead of entering free agency.

Okay so help me out for a second.

Let’s say the Nets move off of KD & Kyrie but they stink, stink bad enough to pick #1 next year, who ends up with Victor Wembanyama or Scoot Henderson? Cause the Nets don’t own that pick right?
I forgot about this

Nets needs to kill this pride shyt, Kyrie and KD have given them more relevance than they have ever had in the last 20 years, they need to let it play out

The precedent of a max level player, and someone who’s at worst the 2nd best PG in the league when healthy, signing for less than max money.

If LA can get it done, congratulations to them. It’s gonna be looked at funny by the Players Association, especially with how close it is to the CBA being up and the new one being negotiated

I remember all the stories about MLB's union pushing Arod toward that contract and not taking less to go to a preferred destination.

Let's see if the union bout that life
