He was on the market and no other team wanted to give him that contract.

Every team agreed with the nets. They aren’t giving him a big contract unless he proves he wants to play.

He wasn’t on the market as a free agent stop the dumb the shyt

The reality is none of teams kyrie wanted to go to could afford him or offer trade packages that 1) the Nets or any other teams would be willing to accept and 2)wouldn't gut the the team trading for kyrie
None of the teams he wanted to go to wanted him.

If Ky wasn’t so toxic teams would have been stumbling over themselves to gut the team to get him.

effectively he was. He was allowed to talk to teams and get a feel for the market. The market rejected him.

A sign and trade is different than signing someone straight up. If he was on the market as a FA no team could offer him as much as the Nets could. Kyrie wanted a sign and trade to get the most money possible but none of the teams he wanted have a good package to offer the Nets. If he was a straight up FA teams with cap space would’ve offered him the max.

The nets staunchly aren’t offering him shyt. He could have been a free agent on Wednesday if he felt there was a market for him.

The lakers wanted him, and none of the other teams he wanted have anything to offer. You believe everything the media says when the media said he was gone and here he is opting back in.

If became a FA on Wednesday he still wouldn’t be able to get as much as he could get from the Nets. That’s the whole point of a sign and trade. It’s better for him to just play this season out and bet on he and KD having success which would led to the Nets giving him the deal he wants. They just want to see a full season from him. You really think if he was a FA no teams would offer him a max lol you’re crazy

He could have gotten a max contract this year if any team in the league thought he was worthy of it. Hell the nets might of extended him if they thought there was a chance he’d walk.

The market rejected Kyrie. That’s the reality of it :manny:

He couldn’t have got the same max from another team that the Nets could offer him :snoop:that’s the whole point of a sign and trade what’s so hard to understand. No team he wanted had anything to offer even the Lakers all we had was Russ and very the few picks we got left.

And why would the nets extend him when everyone knows the reason why they’re mad at kyrie in the first place :snoop: They wanna see him play a full season
