So having a debate with a partner of mines and I think Kyrie is better than Wall however he believes that Kyrie is the far superior player. I can't agree that he is far superior player however.

In addition another cat is saying that with Fizdale in Memphis that Mike Conley will take a leap into the top tier of PGs and could take place of wall or kyrie.

Easily wall. But i feel kyrie is the better overall player due to his offensive repertoire.

I think Wall is a better PG but Kyrie is a better player.

Edit breh

:sas1: But..... Is John Wall a champion?

If you are talking about passing, Wall is the best. Kyrie is the better player though and a guy I can trust to take over games.

As for that Conley statement, he's going into 30s with a bad injury..I don't think he is making any leaps

Kyrie gets the nod based on what he did in the playoffs.

I do think Wall has outplayed him the last 3 regular seasons though. But playoffs matter more so :manny:

Wall

Kyrie is cold but lets be honest here. He's no floor general. He may be the better player but he's not the better point guard.
As for Conley? Dude's always hurt and prolly won't look nearly the same coming back from a serious achilles injury at this age, so I just left him out of the equation.:yeshrug:

Kyrie is better scorer and he's effectively the off-guard in Cleveland so talking about being a better PG, Wall. I wish Wall was a little bit better as a shooter so this convo wouldn't be this murky.

Conley doesn't belong in the conversation and at 31 and injury-prone I doubt a Nash-like 30's surge. He is who he is. Like someone said he's been underrated so long he's kind of become overrated.

Kyrie right now. He just didn't ball in the Finals. That man had a great overall playoffs and was the Cavs leading scorer the first couple of round is I am not mistaken.

Wall the better PG but Kyrie the better player

When dude tries his hardest, he isn't a total sieve on defense (Like curry), is athletic enough to do about everything you need in an elite PG, has the best scoring skillset of any guard right now, and he's colder than ice.

If Wall didn't get injured, had a better J, and had half the handles of Kyrie, we might have something.

Wall averaged 20,10,5 this year.:francis:

Everytime Wall been to the playoffs it's because he lead his team,so he's already proved he can lead a team to the playoffs as the main guy.

Kyrie nice but without Lebron he'd still be a no show in the playoffs and putting up empty numbers in Cleveland.

Wall>>Kyrie
