Yea we won't.The purpose of a business- any business as far as I can tell is to earn profit. If employees of a particular business earn so little they qualify for welfare isn't proof the business pays "too little" to me. It means that's the value of their labor. But I've had this argument enough to know we won't see eye to eye.
And they work for beerThe most people getting jobs even in black areas out here are Mexicans...
gotta let this ting bubble and do hella numbers on earthinggreat
Which still mkes it subjective

I swear that guy is retarded. No, they're BOTH fukked
We have a fixed rate of $9/hr which is essentially an unlivable wage for almost anyone living in CA.

Again, you keep proving it's subjective .No, they're BOTH fukked

That's what I been saying. The mexicans are the only ones that are going to benefit from this. But it's going to backfire just like in Seattle. Businesses started to close down, people were getting laid off, and prices started to go up. Also people stopped tipping when they ate out at resturants. I just look at the people that went to college to make a better living for themsleves and there are people who did not try to make a better living getting almost the same amount of pay as a person that sought higher education.

the mininum wage hasn't even been raised in Seattle yet. that whole story about Seattle restaurant closings was nothing but Right Wing propaganda

“We were never interviewed for these articles and we did not close our … location due to the new minimum wage,” Kounpungchart and Frank said in an email. “We do not know what our colleagues are doing to prepare themselves for the onset of the new law, but pre-emptively closing a restaurant seven years before the full effect of the law takes place seems preposterous to us.”
“My closure is strictly due to location — nothing to do with wages.”
When it comes to the impact the $15 wage will have on restaurants, University of Washington researchers, University of California, Berkeley, researchers and an owner of seven local Subways agree that restaurants will have to raise their prices about 4 to 5 percent — meaning an additional nickel per dollar on Seattle restaurant checks.
