Also reading this it looks like the tariff damage is about to start with price going up much quicker starting in early May.

I read that by May 10th goods will stop flowing into LA ports. Basically it will be reduced heavily based on tarrifs, and ports on the east coast will be hit within 2 weeks. So it's going to be another covud type of situation for certain items. Even if they resolve the issue it'll still take another month and a half before goods start flowing again. Art of the deal y'all...
Yes sir. Starting in May there will likely be empty shelves and shortages of some products.

What yall think trump will do?
From what I can see he will not do anything. He doesn't care. People behind this shyt are actually betting on America to be able to outlast China. Even if China blinks first this shyt is just going to create anger because no one in America, except for Fox News clowns, actually wants a trade war.

Maybe Americans will stop buying a bunch of crap they can't afford now. Setting up an economy based solely on consumption and massive amounts of debt was bound to fail. Once other countries stop loaning you money.

The Trump administration says cheap goods aren’t part of the American dream. They’re wrong.

A few weeks ago, I expected that he would walk back the tariffs and China would let him claim some empty victory and things go back to normal. Now? I’m not so sure China is in the mood for his bullshyt games.

I suspect China will drag out the war with the aim of demonstrating to the American people, the real consequences of a trade war. Once the American people understand the consequences of trade wars, normal trade can resume with a politically damaged and diminished Trump.

It’s the only way to deal with someone as dishonest and dishonorable as Trump. You can’t take him as his word. The best tactic is to diminish him politically by turning his loyal base against him by inflicting economic pain.

Americans have proven they don’t have the stomach for prolonged and costly unnecessary wars, so why not take a page out of Vietnam and Iraq wars?

The difference is China is run by a dictator who doesn't give a fukk. Respect on the world stage is their A1 goal and if they have to tank economy and make 1/2 the population eat grass for 10 years, they'll do it.
