I decided to pay $1000 dollars extra a month to live closer to work. Best decision I've ever made.

I lived in the valley and worked in Irvine i only did it because i had 0 rent.....after a month, i paid $2k to live with cacs Close to Irvine cause that communte and traffic was BRUTAL. I would rather spend the money and live closer and enjoy life vs wasting away in traffic

My exact feelings. I'll never put myself in a position where I live more than 30 minutes from work. Life is too short to spend time sitting in traffic everyday.

Just observation over the years..

People don't know how to merge into traffic causing slowdowns..

People waiting until they're 2 feet from their exit, then darting over from the 3rd lane to get off the expressway..

Interchanges cause backups as well..

Pay attention to how traffic opens up when you get away from interchanges and exit/entrance ramps.

Los Angeles should have had their own mta built years ago like ours instead of letting the car companies sabotage the high speed and local railway plans...

I’m pretty sure La doesn’t have the most Fortune 500 companies in America and companies are already starting to branch out. Aren’t a lot of companies in Cali moving to Texas?

Id be scared of other drivers. Some people cant handle traffic, especially on a hot day
