When you flake out or cancel on a date at the last minute?

Y'all flake over text or over the phone, so your life being in danger is not an excuse you can use here. Tell dude straight up that you aren't interested or just ignore and block him. If he knows where you live, call the police if he ever comes around looking for you and carry around pepper spray in case he starts stalking you.
Why come up with outrageous lies like ya phone fell out ya purse down a river 5 days ago, washed up on some nearby shore a day ago... someone found it and got it to you 30 minutes before the scheduled date so you can tell dude you won't be making it?
Is it a power trip that you can play with peoples minds and lead them on? Are you too much of a coward to be direct and straightforward about how you feel and your intentions?
I've had women cut me off through text or phone conversations, and it's not like a man can strangle you through the phone. You can simply hang up, block him and move on with your life.
inb4 someone says this is a woman bashing thread. Nah, I'm genuinely curious as to why women do this. Being young ain't good enough. You know the difference between right and wrong and you wouldn't want it done to you.
And I'm not talking about ALL women. If it don't apply to you and you don't wanna provide constructive criticism and posts without deflections and excuses then just don't make a post. And yes, I know men do it too.

Yesterday I hit her up and we texted then I said we eating tmrw. She never texted back til 30 mins ago saying her phone messed up and stopped working til now so she just got the msg and she can't with a sad smiley
