Find a braider and stick with her. She should be able to do your hair without alot of tension on your edges.

Also you can get the front braided down and the back in box braids to relieve the pulling on your scalp.

how long is your hair? if you don't wanna do extensions/weave/wigs, best bet is a twist out, or flat twists into a style if you can. I do those a lot
