Last weekend, we went out and my friend brought along a work associate. Dude is not really shy, but this guy was damn near panicking because I walked over and told this chick that he wanted to talk to her. This brotha just up and leaves out into the parking lot talmbout, "She might think I look too thirsty, man; Why'd you do that? "

His reaction was funny at the time, but when I sat and thought about it, it's kinda sad (and weird as fukk) that a grown ass 25 year old man is afraid to talk to women because he's afraid of being callled "thirsty" . Part of it is him, but we also live in a jaded society where it's hard to discern genuine interest from "thirst".
