Also, I didn't use scriptures because if you were so "deep" in the bible, the way you put on, you would already know about how Solomon's marriage to pagan wives (According to 1 Kings 11: Solomon's "wives turned his heart after other gods") is what caused him to turn his back on God and resulted in the fall of Israel. You can read this in 1st and 2nd Chronicles and 1st and 2nd Kings. After his reign everything went all down hill from there. God didn't damn the nation while Solomon was still in power because he loved Solomon's father (David) so much.

It's ignorant of you to ask me to discuss reverenced Queens of the bible because we can probably count one hand how many queens were actually mentioned in the Bible. I will admit that I have only read as far as Isaiah so far. How far have you read?

The verse that you quoted from Corinthians was only directed at the Corinth church. Please actually read the Bible son. Your thinly veiled hatred is showing.
And regarding the verse about "man being more than gold", If you read Isaiah 13:11, just a couple verses before that one, you will be able to put that verse into context. The speaker is damning Babylon and is saying "I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold", inferring that men (humans) will be hard to find because most will be dead.
You claim you're a real man worthy of leading someone but you can't even debate the bible without slinging mud, calling names, and referring to women as "bytches". Pathetic.

Sorry, I had to come back and redact my original statement. I mean, I do feel like 2 consenting adults are able to run their relationship however they see fit but the problem with a lot of these "Christian" men on thecoli is that y'all confuse being treated like a king for actually being a king. You shouldn't worry about a king's job description because you're not a king. You're just a man, that happened to have been lucky enough to find a woman that gives enough of a damn about you to love you, nurture you, and possibly have your kids.
It's funny how y'all can find all these verses in the Bible that supposedly show that women are less important than men, but y'all can remember one of the most famous verses: "Love thy neighbor as you love yourself". Or does that verse only apply to Men?
But if you do know that verse then it leads me to believe that you can't cherish women or hold her to a high regard because you don't love yourself very much.

Never understood how the subject of submission is such a touchy one. Its quite simple in my opinion: If a man is not worthy of submission, then don't DATE him and definitely do not PROCREATE with him.
Find a quality man who's about his business and is of good character, THEN SUBMIT. But what many women do is choose a dude based on bullsh#t like swag or "he was just so funny" or "he made me feel so good" and then end up dating a loser. Once they realize they've given their best years, best emotions and best mind to a loser, they become upset and bitter.
Once this happens, they don't do the correct thing, which would be to chastise themselves for making a bad decision, learn from said bad decision and then choose correctly going forward. No, what many do is blame the dude(s) that they dated, pat themselves on the back for being "strong" enough to withstand the bad situation they helped to create, take no time for self-reflection and then continue to date the same kinds of wolves with a different grade of sheep's clothing.
And then instead of looking at the men and their mind state objectively, which would be looking at the root of the issue, they attack the actions and reactions of the interaction, which would be looking at the branches. So, they blame the fact that they were so nice and submissive as the issue, which makes them fearful of "being a doormat." When in reality, it was who they were dating and who they were during the relationship that caused the issue...."do not caste pearls before swine."
Giving submission to the wrong man is caused by a woman being in the wrong mind to choose the right kind of man to submit to. No one said women should submit to their FWB or the one night stand or the deadbeat who's been trying to get her number every time she orders a two-piece at KFC. No one said date a loser and then give your best to him only so you'd still be single and with child years later. No one said submit to the dude you smash for the weed hookup every payday. No one said submit to the dude you dome off to get your hair done every other week.
This brings us to why every time the issue of submission comes up, there's always a "well, you got to be at a certain level to get that kind of treatment." Well, a wise man once said that "what is understood doesn't need to be said." Choose wisely, and all this "if then" sh#t goes out the door.
