There are plenty of rings that doesn't require you to remortgage your house to purchase. How cheap are you as a man to claim that intend to marry me but not present something symbolic to our union. To me its setting a precedent...next you'll say lets sign legal papers...we don't need a paper to define our marriage.

Depends on the person tbh. If they're materialistic then they probably wouldn't.

I would be fine with it because diamonds are literally the worst investment in the entire world. Also fukk the entire diamond mining industry.

I'd rather a plain band, cheap wedding (if at all), then a dope ass extended honeymoon around the world.

I work in a kitchen 6 days a week so I wouldn't be able to wear a ring anyway.

We had a small cermony in front of the judge and reception at my moms.

Plus I don't wear jewelry so it wasn't important for him to buy me one

ive learned whem you let things slide...it creates resentment later in the relationship. I understand a man that cannot afford to purchase a ring at the time delaying but telling me he doesn't want to....tells me he doesn't value me. You can purchase a ring for less than a 1000$ even 500$. if he's too cheap to buy a ring he probably is too cheap for the wedding.
