ive learned whem you let things slide...it creates resentment later in the relationship. I understand a man that cannot afford to purchase a ring at the time delaying but telling me he doesn't want to....tells me he doesn't value me. You can purchase a ring for less than a 1000$ even 500$. if he's too cheap to buy a ring he probably is too cheap for the wedding.

So in your mind...having even a $100 ring shows that a man values you more than if he just said "let's get married" with no ring.

So it's only a logical step that if $100 ring > more love than No Ring, then....

$500 ring > more love than a $100 ring.

etc....

Therefore...money spent = more love.
