I want a ring and that's what I will get.
I did. My husband purpose and later we picked out our rings together. Thank God too, cause if he want by himself he would have fell for that crap about a BIG diamond means love when diamonds are freaking worthless. That jeweler was not going to rock my hubby's pocket with me there.
I went to Zales at the beginning of this month got a good deal on a ring set.
Earlier last month we went to get her ring sized for class graduation And we looked in the engagement section and I got a good Idea of what she likes.

I just got the best ring I could afford that caught her eye.

That's a real woman....I got no respect for people who leave when time get tough. I have an...acquaintance who trying to leave her husband now due to finance reason and the man gave her the world. He's going broke from paying HER bills and she's all" I can't have my life like this"...I swear some people just irk the heck out of me. A family weeding is best. Hubby and I got married in court then celebrated with both our familes later. The money we saved from having a huge wedding is going to our soon to be bought house. We said from day one we wanted to build our finances but most people don't look past the wedding day.

Agree but I still want a ring though. Has nothing to do with being flashy, it's just the symbolism behind it.
Him being a millionaire doesn't equate to him being husband material and I have a hard time believing a man who was truly husband material would have a problem buying a ring.
