I had a teacher in HS tell the class once that if we ever wanted to sweep a girl to write her a note, she'll know you care bout her so much to go as far as writting a note. Is this true ladies?

Something similar to what @DarlingNikki described. He set a location for us to meet without any mention of the plans, drove us to a lake and set up a picnic. It was a sweet gesture but it didn't get past date two - his personality was sub-par.

Best courting I think was with my recent BF/now ex. First date was desserts & tea, went for a walk and roamed around an independent book store we discovered that day that ended up becoming a fav of ours throughout the relationship. His conversation was on point, his vibe was right and he was funny. I don't think he was trying too hard to impress me until after a few more dates/establishing that there was mutual interest.

Lesson here for the lurking simps: just be yourself.

@Rawtid you and every other brehette can answer the question too
I honestly don't have any "courting" stories. guys i seriously date I tend to know for a long time, like old friends or school mates and we start off as friends and years later it turns to something "more" but there is never a formal transition with formal dates and the whole nine.
