Something similar to what @DarlingNikki described. He set a location for us to meet without any mention of the plans, drove us to a lake and set up a picnic. It was a sweet gesture but it didn't get past date two - his personality was sub-par.

Best courting I think was with my recent BF/now ex. First date was desserts & tea, went for a walk and roamed around an independent book store we discovered that day that ended up becoming a fav of ours throughout the relationship. His conversation was on point, his vibe was right and he was funny. I don't think he was trying too hard to impress me until after a few more dates/establishing that there was mutual interest.

Lesson here for the lurking simps: just be yourself.
All that work

I honestly don't have any "courting" stories. guys i seriously date I tend to know for a long time, like old friends or school mates and we start off as friends and years later it turns to something "more" but there is never a formal transition with formal dates and the whole nine.
:mjpls:

My last bf and I worked across the street from each other in the beginning of our rship and he'd bring me breakfast everyday, then we'd go out to lunch everyday, then after work we'd venture the city and just chill out. He'd also cook my fave foods and have me over for dinner, and fix stuff around my house lol. It's the little things w/ me.

My current - a weekend all abt me in the Caribbean

I have had a few boyfriends who would write love letters (which I LOVED). I also had a boyfriend who was/is the lead in a band who wrote a song about me (that they often perform on stage during their shows)...so sexy. Its like my own love/lust anthem.

I have more but I don't feel like being called a "bed wench" today.
