Thought this was great. Anyone who grew up with women or has been in a serious relationship with a women should enjoy this.

Of course, The Coli is #HOH central, so the somewhat mixed reaction in here makes sense.

I thought this was great. Beforehand it felt like this could've been every indie movie made in the past ten years, but somewhere Greta Gerwig captured an honest essence about growing up and nothing about it felt fake or forced. She's got a great sense of humor too (I was dying at the football coach taking over the theater class) and I liked how she valued each character in their own right. She could've mocked a bunch of the characters easily but instead treated and respected them for being humans who all deal with their own shyt. Although the movie is named after the titular character, it never tries to make her issues and struggles seem bigger than everyone else's. I think that's the hidden strength of this movie compared to all the other teenage dramas that try to make it seem like some girl growing up is the single most important thing in the whole fukking universe.

I'm a fan of coming of age films and I didn't find this to be all that. It was okay, but there was something about it that I couldn't stand, can't put my finger on it.

Saw it a few weeks ago. Enjoyed it very much. It actually owns the record for most consecutive reviews at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes at 195. Toy Story 2 had the record at 163.

I just saw this. It was OK, I would rate it 7/10. Maybe I didn't get it, but not sure why this has rave reviews. Saorise Ronan is a great actress though.
