I remember back when she made this song and started talking about looking to break off from making secular music, focus more on her Christianity and the like...then a few years later she came out with this shyt.


I don't follow her or Dancehall music so I don't have a time line on her, but she was in my neck of the woods a few years ago and she started off the show talking about how this will be her LAST tour doing this shyt for contractual obligations...she going back to Christ, blah blah blah...
She's slowly accepting the fact that she's 'the old bytch' in this dancehall game, whatever looks and energy she had ain't there no more and the young girls she influenced are quickly putting her out pasture if she ain't already out there grazing. I hope she gets her shyt together and I wish her the best.

I tried my best too until it hit me, 'cause to be honest I think her motivation for going back to Christ this time hinges on the fact that she old to the point that even with a gang of makeup on she ain't no where near as semi-attractive as she once was. And she needs whatever looks she had/had to continue to be relevant in the fickle slackness that is the female side of the dancehall game. I don't know what Patra looks like these days but I'm quite sure she still got some dudes going if she were to hit the scene with tunes compared to what's left of Lady Saw. It's been a good run for her, I hope she made bank but she going to gah go the Kobe route and find a new day job soon; or in her case turn to Christ and drop one or two church albums where her looks won't factor in to the equation.
