You are stupid if you think he was the reason we haven't gotten big free agents, why would players trying to win a ring join this roster?? Let's say LMA joined..this roster still would have missed the playoffs. Don't let the media do your thinking especially the one who is clearly biased against him because he shyts on them.
Kobe is a big factor here to me because he fukks up the chemistry with the youngsters. It's like playing basketball with your father. This is what no one talks about

Because it's L.A.

Why did Shaq come here?

Why did Wilt come here?

Why did Kareem end up here?

Teams were trash before they showed up, they came because it's Los Angeles.

Its the same reason why people want to play in NY but won't go there until Melo is gone. Stars or borderline stars won't touch the cities because of the stars that are there now
It's wasn't just Los Angeles, it was Jerry Buss' commitment to win and his commitment to excellence

Bruh it's not media..I been saying this shyt for two years now. Nobody wants to okay with dude. Five years ago players would take the chance and okay with him because they could take a back seat but still have a chance to win that ring...now they don't.

Aldridge ain't shyt but Gasol in a younger form now... Aldridge would have signed five years ago and been OK with losing touches for the sake if a ring so he would have signed.

Ask yourself, what's the point of working for W's right now? :childplease:

To make Byron look competent and stick around longer? To try to make a run for a playoff spot, come up short or get bounced in the 1st round? To lose the pick to Philly?

Lakers are good where they're at. The sole purpose of this season is to give the rooks NBA experience and tank.

I expect the FO to do work with the next off season signings and draft and then fire Byron when they get serious about contending again :myman:

Kobe Stans don't want to admit this. Dude is and has been a hindrance for this franchise for the past three or four seasons

The laker organization had playoff expectations. We're the worse team in the league
Man :camby:

So fukking dramatic....

My squad is 2 losses away from breaking the fukking losing record..atleast Lakers are still desirable(moreso when Kobe leaves, but nonetheless more desired over fukking Philly) :martin:

How has he fukked up any chemistry this season? Young guys are balling, the only thing stopping them is Scott. You seriously can't be watching games and blaming Kobe. Does he take some stupid shots? Sure..but he shouldn't be blamed at all. This roster sucks.

You act like you know what happens behind the door.."nobody wants to okay with dude" how do you know this info?? Other than ESPN, this hasn't been public. Literally every player respects him, and has said so publicly. Ofcourse now they don't because the roster overall sucks, you are not looking at roster but separating Kobe as the sole reason. We can remove Kobe from the team, and Aldridge/other free agents still wouldn't have joined. There is no reason to join a lottery team.

fakkits who clearly don't watch Laker basketball should stop talking out of their ass :stopitslime::pacspit:

Kobe is constantly communicating with the rooks on the floor last few games. Picking which spots they should be on the floor and orchestrating the team's ball movement.
