Broke Wave
The GOAT
Duncan winning the same number of rings is more dangerous to Kobe's legacy. IMO
How can you claim to be the best from your era if another player won just as much as you did and have more awards?
Laker fans can argue that Lebron started winning titles once Kobe fell. You can't make that argument with Duncan.
See the thing is I don't even want to "argue" tho... I was a WITNESS. History was a witness. Outside of the Coli there is a consensus. A historical record. The historical record recalls a young Kobe and Shaq Lakers and Tim Duncan's first seeded Spurs in 2001 taking one of the biggest L's in NBA history, one of the games being a 48 point Beanfest where he dunked on litearlly the entire team. These philosophical games of "if hes from your era and did this, but he didnt do that, and if he did, it was this X variable" are usually restricted to the Internet and ESPN talking heads. This brilliant season by Kobe vs Duncan's good season is another testament to the difference between them. It's really not close

1. Lebron
2. Kobe
3. Durant
