Overrated in the sense that people believe the Lakers will get it together because they've been so great in the past. I think that past is overrated because 1 man was responsible for the last 3 decades of winning. They're overrating the franchises ability to get back to winning because 1 man is responsible for their winning ever since the 80's. If you can find a better word that describes what I'm saying than overrated please do.

Your shooting guard's entire offense relies on jumpshooting. Your center is made of peanut brittle. Your swingman is a guy who's never going to be reliable in the playoffs. David Lee is cool but he's nothing remarkable.
Your team is either going to get tired and shoot its way out of a series or a key component or components are going to break apart before it matters.
And your team is mediocre defensively. They're just not an elite team. They're a good team, but not a great team.
