No, it isn't.

George just turned 26 and is locked up on an old max contract.
I'm willing to bet money, not coli cash but real money, that at least one player picked in the top 3 this year will be better at 26 than Paul George is right now.

How much we talking? And does that amount accrue interest since that's 7 years away :jbhmm:

The top 3 in this draft are Simmons, Ingram and Bender, you're saying one of them will be a superstar level 2 way player?

They aren't trading him anytime soon.

He will not stay in Indiana, you either trade him next summer or lose him for nothing. Without a doubt he's opting out to get the next level max in 2018. Once he hits the market, plenty of teams gon be sliding in his DM's. Not too mention, him and Harden will be FA's at the same time(both are from LA).
Might as well make that Paul George signs with the Lakers thread 2 years in advance. :manny:

There's never been talk of him being unhappy in Indiana, he had a chance to sign with the Lakers before and took the extension from the Pacers.

They aren't trading him anytime soon :comeon:

Paul George and Myles Turner are a great foundation to build a championship team around. They could try to bring Lance back, maybe find an upgrade for George Hill (Mike Conley? I doubt they spend top dollar for him though). They could upgrade the 4 spot as well (Ryan Anderson, Marvin Williams?) and they're in the thick of things next season.

They could've gave Cleveland a good push this year if they got past Toronto.

They should keep Hill and maybe sign Rondo to a 1-2 year deal. I don't think they have a shot at Conley. They need some rebounding in their frontcourt, Pau would be nice but I don't see them grabbing him either.
