What would be the point? They'd still be over the cap and couldn't sign a better replacement. They're over the cap with just Nash, Gasol and Kobe

they arent going to amnesty anybody. by not having dwight come back, that knocked 20 mill of payroll. no point in amnestying kobe blake gasol or metta when they are all expiring. they could use metta or blakes expiring contract to deal for a contract later on that a team wants to get rid of
