hes gonna need tommy john surgery this offseason
Kobe Bryant's 44 points against the Golden State Warriors (8-2) on Sunday night was just a drop in a losing bucket.
The Lakers (1-9) didn't come close to matching the Warriors' 136 points, falling short by 21.
“It gets to a point where you can’t make excuses,” Bryant said after the loss. “You can’t look at everybody else and point the finger. You have to look at yourself first."
Bryant said he trusts his teammates and would prefer them to take bigger roles in the offense.
“I’m more than willing to sit back. If you think I want to shoot as many times or as be as aggressive at 36 years old, you’re freaking crazy," he said.
Bryant likened watching his team fall behind to observing a thief fleeing the scene of the crime.
"When a purse gets stolen in front of you, how many blocks are you going to let the guy run?" he asked.
"Maybe I’m being too aggressive. Maybe I’ve got to let the person run a couple more blocks and let the authorities come. Those are things that I have to evaluate.

guess "never" came sooner rather than later. This just proves Kobe really ain't no snitch. Other dudes would call them #s, Kobe out there with that thang on his hip getting his chain back by himself.these weirdos don't realize that kobe is trying to lead by example with his aggressiveness and intensity breh
More than they did when he was in.Why dont you tell me?![]()
More than they did when he was in.
Lee will come off the bench with Iggy when he comes back. He'll still log heavy minutes but Kerr's analogy is if it ain't broke don't fix it.Are yall going to play David Lee a lot when he comes back, that Green/Barnes duo is really killing it so far.

Kobe being the captain of a 1-9 team is just
Remember all those times people used to say "Kobe would never let his team start *insert terrible record here" when they were putting down other stars and now he's at the head of a team only 1 game better than the Sixersguess "never" came sooner rather than later.
Yea but it's a bit too late now. Laker fans simply don't care. This would have been valid in his prime, but dude's health took a turn for the worse and he has the mi league of like a 22 year vet. Taking shots at Kobe at this point is like a nikka trying to come at Avon AFTER he got snatched by the feds. And plus, this Lakes roster was doomed from the start. I mean outside of Kobe I'd their ANY player in our lineup that would start on a playoff team. I and many other Laker fans are content with a 10 win season where Kobe is chucking his ass off.

Breh. Kobe is 36, Wade is 32. Nobody is making excuses, just pointing out how ridiculous it is to clown a 36 year old coming off 2 major injuries. It's a reach. Wade, T-Mac, Iverson..these dudes broke down in their primes. The criticism of these guys was based on the fact their game dropped off drastically after their athleticism declined. It was an argument of longevity. This is Kobe's 18th year and he playing with a WOAT level roster. Y'all waited too late for this. His legacy is cemented. He just breaking records now
All these excuses, "never" was a term used by you all, and never is today. Injuries don't matter when you try to shyt on Wade, but now they are used in defense, and a 10 win season for Kobe would be comical![]()
