And Ill give the Warriors this: Curry probably isnt the "prolific scorer to carry the team to the playoffs" guy...but yknow what? he doesnt have to be. The Warriors have done a very rare thing in the NBA and thats instill a culture. Their young core of draftees like Paschal, Wiseman, and Looney are already contributing at a hi level. AND theyre getting solid minutes out of complimentary role players and journeymen, some of whom are looking reborn out there (Wiggins).

I think we've been seeing them as a finesse based offense that will fade as they get older, but they might be closer to the Prime Spurs than previously thought.

The pick is unprotected in 2022 in the same draft as Emoni Bates
What are the chances that a team with Towns, Russell, Anthony Edwards, and a top-3 pick is going to be a bottom-3 team in the league again? They're only picking up Bates if Minny is one of the very very worst teams in the NBA this year AND next year. That's a lot to bet on.

They're only at the bottom now cause Towns has been out with Covid plus went through absolute hell last year and Edwards is just a rookie. I wouldn't bet on them replicating that next year.

I’m not talking about record I’m taking about how much Wigs avg against Bron.. go look it up.. Bron got the clamps put on him down the strength by wigs
You said he puts the "clamps" on Bron. Usually "clamps" means defense - what does that have to do with Wiggins' scoring average?

Wiggins is famous for throwing up empty points and I'm sure he cares a lot more about his matchups with Bron than Bron cares about him. Averaging 25ppg while losing 10 out of 11 just isn't very impressive to me.

He is definitely a better GM than Magic. If Magic was able to get Hakeem traded to the Lakers in the late 80's he would have a couple more rings.

:ohhh:
Magic's GM was Jerry West, considered a top-2 GM of all time. You're calling Bron better than Jerry West at being a GM? :ehh:

Magic had way better squads in his run than Bron has had. :mjlol:

During his 12 year run, Magic played 10 years with HOF Kareem, 9 years with HOF Worthy, 9 years with HOF Riley, 6 years with HOF Wilkes, plus a slew of ultra-elite role players like All-Star Norm Nixon, DPOY Michael Cooper, All-Star A.C. Green, Mychal Thompson, Bob McAdoo, Vlade Divac, Byron Scott, Sam Perkins, etc.

Bron has what in his run? 4 years of Wade, 4 years of Bosh, 2 years of Kyrie, 3 years of Love, and 2 years of AD? Without coaching or a supporting cast that comes even close to the 1980s Lakers?

You showed your ass there.

did Prime Magic ever play with another top 5 player? Kareem was on his last legs in Magic's prime so he doesn't count

I don't think their ownership is quite as savvy with transactions as they thought they were, and that might kill their ceiling, but if they had a healthy Klay this year, I think this is a legitimate top 4 team in the West. Steph seems to have unlocked the gunner role, they're creating really high quality looks, look defensively sound.

Im not in this conversation of agendas, but I do wanna add on that Wiggins got some really good outings on D against the elite at his position. If he had tried to figure it out on offense early in his career, he might've been in the same class as some of those dudes by now.
