Man could’ve went down as the greatest King ever. That didn’t happen.

What was his reason for leaving the pelicans?

Was reported that The Pels gave him a one time 2 yr 40 million offer that he declined cause he wanted the max and thought he could get it elsewhere but no one was offering him shyt. In hindsight one of the few good moves Dell Demps did:ehh:

Rachel Nichols already made two journalistic series on how it played out.
so I ain't listening to your homer based spins, at all.
The kings org is fukk'n inept.
trying to spin it like they got it right is some homer fan shyt.
y'all sound like delusional bears and bulls fans from Chicago. Trying to act like the halas way and the bulls being a character org is crack'n.

Their isn't any loyalty in business. Take every penny they offer you & don't look back.

I don't agree with the loyalty comment, teams have to make difficult decisions sometimes especially when dealing with a player that isn't likely to play all season long.

And if what was said earlier about him being allowed access for rehab, that's a nice gesture from the Lakers. They could already have a plan in place for him to re-sign similar to us with Marquese Chriss.

It's crystal clear that's the case. Name another situation where the player is waived but still practicing with staff before the game, sitting courtside at the game, and getting treatment from team doctors after the game lol. He's not coming back this season so why not waive him, it's not like he's signed beyond this season anyway. For some reason there was pressure or expectation on him coming back, this gets rid of that and makes sure he's as healthy as he can be next season.

The weird part is dudes going "Where's the tweet confirming him coming back. I need it right now." damn nikka you need Woj to tell you to eat breakfast too :mjtf:

I don't even think it's legal to announce that and even if it was what good does it do with four months left of this season lol
