Lamar Jackson Lining Up at Different Positions!

Baltimore Ravens rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson is lining up at different positions with Joe Flacco under center as the team begins to scheme ways to get the talented playmaker involved once the 2018 NFLseason gets underway.

On Tuesday, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said the offensive staff has "worked hard" to generate creative ways for Jackson to make an impact while Flacco remains the starting QB, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.

How many other white quarterbacks are working out at different positions? I have not see one story about josh allen or baker mayfield trying out different positions either to run or catch the ball. I see this as an excuse to not allow him to be a qb

The ravens view him as a QB. And Mayfield and Allen aren’t the same level of athlete as Lamar. Baltimore gotta run with Flacco the next year or so cause they paying him 20+ a year. Nothing wrong with letting Lamar impact the game while isn’t starting at QB. I think its smart.

Why would they draft a qb in the first round to play another position?..that shyt don’t add up and no GM signing off on that

Hard to know which way they are thinking. For me their are two ways to look at this:

He is such an athletic talent that they want to find ways to use him WHILE STILL GROOMING HIM TO BE THE FUTURE STARTER...and many high round white QB's don't have the same athletic abilities as Jackson.

OR

They didnt really want him at QB ever, regardless of what they said.

I'd pump the breaks on getting pissed about this at this point in the game. They could just be trying out a special package or some trick plays.

All the reports out of the Ravens camps are that Lamat has been shytting all over Flacco. The vets are starting to back him as well.
