I don't think this is a bad thing at all. Kordell stewart started off as SLASH. When Vick came to the eagles after being out the game in 2 years, he ran a few gadget plays here and there. it's about just getting on the field, getting used to that nfl speed which is a different animal from college. This should benefit him next year when he takes over the starting qb job.
