Sigh. Again, he lacks consistency. Also, Eagles had/have one of the greatest rosters ever assembled. You gotta win, AND be the unquestioned reason you winning

When Hurts balled out in their Super Bowl loss he was praised non stop. It wasn’t until he had inconsistent play——with 2 WR1s, a top tier TE, a goat RB, and an elite defense mind you——that people started nitpicking. Rightfully so

Winning PLUS being the reason you won. Matt Stafford is untouchable bc he did both. Mahomes did both. Peyton Manning did both, but then when he won and was NOT the reason why in Denver, people shyt on him and practically disregard that ring.

Stop making this a black QB thing. It’s embarrassing af

Using your own logic in this thread Pat Mahomes is literally the only QB worth praise in the NFL. That can't be a serious stance.

Depends on who you ask. Apparently since the Ravens are having a down season, it’s Lamar's fault.

Yea I think the energy around Lamar is weird. This is his first really down year and I blame it more on him just being a little more beat up than usual and he's still rusty in some ways. By next season he will be back in business.

I also think it's time John Harbaugh moved on too.

Lamar has been my favorite QB since entering the league, but the discussions around him are disingenuous on both sides.

He’s been a HOF QB, but has also struggled during the playoffs, although a lot of blame can be placed on coaching and his own weapons.

I haven’t really heard much criticism of him this year. He’s been hurt, but there really hasn’t been a ton of criticism towards him.

I will agree some other QB’s, such as the most overrated QB in two decades in Joe Burrow, does not get the same criticism as Lamar.

They're both the great white hopes.

Dude doesn’t know ball.
Ignored the Andrews drops, Andrews deflecting passes leading to INTs, Andrews returning and disrupting the offense chemistry, Zay’s fumbles, offensive play-calling, etc

I follow the Ravens.
I heard all the disgusting “criticisms” from faking faking injuries, quitting on the team, sleeping during meetings, up late playing video games, physically declining, not all the way there cognitively, etc.

There’s a reason why some of us Ravens fans have had enough. Majority of the criticism are unsourced blatant lies.
Ken from RavensFilmStudy, Femi, Marcus Spears, and more have made videos countering the lies.

From this year? I haven’t really heard any of that, and I’d figure it’d be all over the place if it was being said by a lot of people.

Not saying you’re wrong, but that’s the first I'm hearing all that.

The man was literally at a press conference the other day addressing the report that he was sleeping in team meetings.

Nick Wright addressed it on his show. ESPN did too.

I hear you.
Not just Ravens fans, people in general are tired of the “fake news”, column pieces cloaked as reports, unsourced agenda-riden pieces….

I completely missed that then.

Not for one second would I believe Lamar would not be out there if he could be. It’s always easy for people sitting on a couch to criticize.

That’s kinda the point. Sports discourse is at its most irrational and nitpicking and ‘what have you done for me lately’….oh but when it’s Lamar it’s ‘hey hey hey let’s be rational :whoa:

Lamar is being judged just as harshly and with a fine tooth comb like anyone else

Lastly, if you want to be appreciated for your past accomplishments and be removed from criticism….retire. :yeshrug:

Not true.

Joe Burrow hasn't been criticized AT ALL.

At most, the media is pushing for him to ask for a trade because of the organization.

The same organization he signed that big contract with knowing damn well how cheap the owner is.

1 player is a 2 time MVP, 3 time 1st team all pro

The other is extremely injury prone and beat mahomes ONE TIME to make it to the Super Bowl with the best Wr tandem in the league hands down.

You full of shyt breh.
